How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard of you: Eurofolk - or the unpretentious result of listening to Styrian polkas, Irish reels and rock n roll at the same time in a pub in Bad Aussee which is near Hallstatt.

Irish-Steirisch are playing the Vienna Danube Festival this summer.

this is an encore from last year when they surprised the audience playing rock n roll reels with guitars, accordeons and a hack dulcimer. The review from last year is here
with song titles like Steirer Reel, Unsquare Dance, Merlin and Vivianne, Zu dir, Norwegian Wood adapted for Dulcimer, the Irish song Carry On (which sounds Chinese to nurse Chris). Dance to the Eurofolk! I wonder if they will get to Mayo this year and when Sigi will be publishing his stories centred around mysterious Celtic legends.
